Astrion, a leading provider of mission support and advanced engineering services, and a portfolio company of Brightstar Capital, announced today that it has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Axient, a leading systems integrator and provider of specialized engineering solutions.  The acquisition of Axient will expand Astrion’s capabilities and services portfolio in the areas of cybersecurity, digital solutions, mission support, science & engineering, and test & evaluation.
